Andrew Sheppard from Wellesbourne’s Avon Studios Photography has been invited to be a regular contributor to the UK’s best-selling photo magazine Practical Photography, which is read by 100,000 photography enthusiasts every month.
Features editor Ben Hawkins asked Andrew to join the team of photographic experts because he is one of the UK’s most sought after wedding and portrait photographers.
Each member of the team is asked to comment on a range of photographs submitted by readers and write around 80 words on each picture, with a constructive summary highlighting the good and bad points of the work.
“I was chuffed to be asked,” said Andrew. “A while ago Ben came out to the studio for a day to write a feature on our wedding and portrait photography and he was so taken by what we produced he asked if I’d be interested in joining his panel of experts.
“I like to think I’m offering helpful comments to the readers who’ve obviously put a lot of work into their submissions and that what I say will help them develop their photography further.”
