When Wellesbourne primary School decided to record the fiftieth Anniversary of the school they enlisted the help of local photographer and ex pupil Andrew Sheppard of Avon Studios.

The School in Wellesbourne is planning to bury a time capsule containing photographs and pictures of the school during the last fifty years along with images taken more recently by the schools pupils overseen by the Warwickshire photographer. Whose company kindly donated the cameras to be used for the project and produce finished photographs on Archival Fujifilm photographic paper to ensure that the photographs will not detoriate while underground.

Ex pupil and Wellesbourne photographer Andrew Sheppard commented “It was really nice to be approached by the school for this exciting project as an ex pupil I have many found memories from the school including sitting in the school hall watching Neil Armstrong walk on the moon in 1969 on a black &white television in the corner with several hundred pupils something I will always remember!
